What is your Refund Policy?
Sanders cakes come freshly hand packed to reach you in their best condition. However, their appearance may be affected in extremely warm temperatures. It is always best to have your order sent to a location where someone can immediately bring the package inside upon delivery. While we do use ice packs when necessary, it is best to keep your items covered, cool and dry in their original box for the best experience. We do not recommend refrigerating chocolates. Please store chocolates at room temperature and follow on-pack storage instructions for baked goods. Of course, we want you and your recipients to be thrilled with your purchase from Sanders, so if you feel your order is less than satisfactory, just contact our customer service staff within 30 days of purchase at 800-651-7263 or send an email to email@example.com and we will assist you. Please note that edible items are non-returnable. However, we make every effort to provide replacement product of comparable value if you encounter a quality issue with your order. We often share special offers with our customers, or offer certain items at a discounted price. It is important to note that Sanders does not provide refunds or price adjustments if an item goes on sale after a purchase. Sanders also does not offer rainchecks for items that may not be in stock when a special offer is available. New special offers/discounts cannot be applied to past orders.

What is Bumpy Cake™?
Originally named Devils Food Buttercream Cake, Sanders Bumpy Cake is a timeless classic that has been a part of birthdays and other celebrations for more than a century. This creation is what happens when you combine a baker's love with a confectioner's dream! Moist devil's food cake is topped with rich buttercream bumps, and then covered by a delicious chocolate ganache. We now also offer other variety such as Caramel Bumpy Cake, Carrot Bumpy Cake, Vanilla Butter Cream Bumpy Cake and even a Miniature Chocolate Fudge Bumpy Cake.

Is it pronounced Sanders or Saunders?
Many people have referred to us as Saunders for years, but we actually call ourselves Sanders. If it's difficult to kill the old habit of calling us Saunders, don’t worry; we won’t correct you!
How can I track my order?
When your orders ships, you will receive an email confirmation containing your shipment's tracking number. You can also log in to your account and click on the link to view your recent orders. Then just click on the "order shipments" tab to see tracking information.
How do you ship to protect against warm weather?
We ship using the delivery service offering the most optimal transit time required to get your gifts and treats delivered in their best condition. Your order may be shipped in an insulated cooler with dry ice and/or cold gel packs when necessary. Please remember to reuse the gel packs and insulated coolers next time you're heading out with foods or beverages that need to be kept cold! To prevent your baked goods and chocolates from being stored in a carrier’s unconditioned space during transit, when orders containing such items are received after Wednesday at 12 Noon Eastern Time we will possibly hold the order to ship on the following Monday. Please remember that deliveries left on porches or in warm foyers may cause your shipment to melt. For this reason, we suggest you provide a shipping address where someone will be able to store your package in a cool place immediately upon delivery.
How much will it cost to ship my online order?
We offer simple flat rate shipping. For shipments within the contiguous 48 states, orders under $50 have a rate of $10; orders totaling more than $50 are shipped for FREE. All rates are per delivery address. For complete shipping rate details please click here.
Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?
We do ship to APO and FPO addresses. However, it's important to remember that shipping chocolates overseas can be tricky. Once your order leaves our facility, we have no control over how long it sits in a military distribution center before reaching its final destination. For this reason, we suggest ordering items such as our dessert toppings since they are less susceptible to heat.
What are "Warm Weather Friendly" items?
When will my order ship?
Orders placed by 12 Noon Eastern Time Monday thru Wednesday are typically shipped the same day, or one day after they are received. Orders received after Wednesday at 12 Noon Eastern Time will possibly be held to ship on the following Monday, especially if that order contains temperature-sensitive items such as chocolates or baked goods. This prevents the shipment from being stored in a carrier’s unconditioned space during transit.
Warm Weather Friendly items are those that are less likely to be affected by warm temperatures. This includes items such as our popular gourmet dessert toppings, popcorn, taffy, fruit & snack dips, gift baskets not containing chocolate and merchandise & apparel.
